A Case of Lymphoepithelioma Developed in the Left Maxillary Sinus

ABSTRACT

In general squamous cell carcinoma is the most common malignant tumor of the nose and paranasal sinuses, accounting for approximately 60% of such tumors involving the sinuses. Most pathologists feels that lymphoepithelioma represent nonkeratinizing variants of squamous cell carcinoma, and its histologic pattern demonstrates squamous cell carcinoma intermixed with poorly defined lymphoid follicles. Recently the author experienced a cases of lymphoepithelioma which treated successfully with 5-FU arterial infusion and irradiation with Co60.
