ABSTRACT

We have experienced one case of unilateral acute hearing loss and restored completely its hearing by the extensive vasodilation therapy started within a week. The regime is chiefly based on that used by the Otology Medical Group in Los Angeles. It is understood that the hearing loss occurred suddenly is an otology emergency since its recovery depends on prompt therapy, and has higher incidence of recovery when the treatment starts earlier.
