ABSTRACT

Cysts of the parotid gland account for 2~5% of all parotid gland lesions. These lesions can be classified as acquired cysts or congenital cysts. Congenital cystic lesions of the parotid glands may be divided into dermoid cysts, brachial cleft cysts, branchial pouch cysts, and congenital ductal cysts. Recently, the authors experienced two cases of epidermal cysts and a case of a branchial cleft cyst of the parotid gland.
